Iain's 50 day walk and press up challenge
Iain McAfee
My Story
On 29th May I turn 50 years old. Bar cartilage damage to my knees, I am lucky to have all my limbs unlike the many limbless veterans who suffered in the honourable service of our country.
My aim is to raise money to help those who served and did our country proud. They, in my eyes, are brave heroes who deserve support.
Over the 50 days prior to my birthday, to raise funds for Blesma and the work they do in Northern Ireland, I am going to
- Walk 250 miles (average 5 miles a day)
- Do 5,000 press ups (average 100 a day)
I am recording all the walk on an app and videoing all the press ups.
I would be grateful for any donation no matter how small.
Thank you
