My Story

Dear all,

I'm running the Remembrance Day 11k for Blesma. Like for many others, this will be the first Rembrance Day I've not attending in decades coupled with isolating pre-shoulder surgery I figured it would be a good way to remember instead.
So, if you are able to contribute at all then it would be appreciated.

Further details below for anyone interested in taking part!

Best wishes

Dan

Blesma are delighted to launch our inaugural Remembrance 11K, a Blesma fundraising event, which will both commemorate the significant day of Remembrance and raise vital funds for our limbless and injured veterans.

Our 11K event brings together the community of Blesma supporters creating a communal feel that there are hundreds of other supporters taking part in the event in their local parks and neighbourhoods across all regions of the country, uniting everyone connected to Blesma on a this very important day.

From 08.30 on Sunday 8th November 2020, you may join the Blesma team at this inaugural event which will see the Blesma community come together to complete 11K in Remembrance of the fallen, and those who came home injured. We will be streaming the live invitational event from our head office in Chelmsford on Sunday 8th November from 8.30am, so you can join us virtually for a live warm up led by a local personal trainer and experience the pre-race build up. Post-race we will also be streaming the two minutes silence which we invite you to observe with us.
